WELLNESS IS PART OF LIVING

WELLNESS, SFGFL, HEALING

Having a simple, functional, grace-filled life is having a life that involves wellness.

When we think of the word wellness, we usually think of only the body.  Wellness involves more than the body.

Wellness involves the heart, body, mind, soul, and spirit.

Wellness of the heart means determining whether your heart is in good health.  Heart health involves eating the right kinds of foods that will lower your overall cholesterol as well as eating foods that promote a good cholesterol protective layer for your heart. oatmeal is one such heart healthy food.

Wellness of the heart also means making sure your heart remains free of bitterness, resentment, malice, hate, and unforgiveness.

Wellness of the body means eating food from the basic food groups that contain all the vitamins, minerals, and nutrients that your body needs.  Some of these include, but are not limited to, potassium, selenium, magnesium, omega 3, folate, calcium, vitamin B12, and vitamin D.

Wellness of the body also means you are monitoring your emotional and mental health capacity because they both work together with your physical health, and can easily translate over to grief and trauma, which when not examined, turns into physical fatigue and burnout.

Wellness of the mind means making sure that your emotional and psychological health is up to par.  There is a thin line between sanity and insanity, and thus understanding and respecting your emotional capacity/bandwidth is important.

As humans we take our capacity/bandwidth for granted, thinking we are God, omniscient, and invincible, instead of listening to our bodies.

Wellness of the soul means determining whether your mind, will, and emotions are in good health.

Emotional health involves emotional intelligence, emotional regulation, and emotional development.  Having soul ties to hoarding of excess in the areas of people, places, things, and ideas leads to having our wills entangled on a spiritual and psychological level.

The mind serves as the motherboard of the soul in that whatever you feed it affects your emotions, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

Wellness of the spirit means that you are feeding your spirit with uplifting, joyful, positive, and spiritual energy, activities, hobbies, and music.

When our spirit-man is on par, our souls are in alignment, and we are better able to handle life’s unpredictable and unexpected challenges.

Remember:  You are enough.  Simplify your wellness process. Adopt a functional environment that best fits your needs. And give yourself and others grace as you live your wellness journey out loud.

Be blessed.
