there’s nothing like a chic and stylish outfit. and fall is the season to make these outfits happen. When it comes to chic, classy, and stylish outfits, we have several resources to glean from: family, friends, social media, magazines, tv shows, retail stores, and seeing people as you move out and about town.
no matter where we glean this information from, without an organization system for these items, clutter can accumulate fast. in order to feel good, look good, and enjoy life’s simple pleasures of picking out clothing and accessories, you need a system. you need a system for storing your purses, shoes, boots, dresses, skirts, pants, sweatshirts, coats, etc.
Once you develop this system, getting dressed in a designated closet or room can actually transform your life.
Let’s take a look at four outfits and accessories that look good in the falL. I will earn commission on any amazon links mentioned in this blog post.
outfit number one

This outfit features a sleveless windsor dress that you can wear to a play, fancy dinner or party, or a formal event at church, or for work. the long-sleeved ruffled black blouse underneath is by ann taylor. underneath the dress is a pair of bandolini cAMEL AND BLACK RIDING BOOTS. aMAZON HAS A PAIR OF riding BOOTS similar to these boots by sam edelman.
outfit number two

this outfit features the same ann taylor blouse with the limited pleated skirt. i love the gray of the pleated skirt with the black layer at the bottom. one thing about pleated skirts is that they look good with sweatshirts, t-shirts, sweaters, blouses, tank-tops, etc. round/crew-necked t-shirts and blouses look good accentuated with chunky dangling charm necklaces. I have on the same bandolini riding boots with this outfit. the cheetah print readers that I have on can be found on amazon.
outfit number three

this outfit features the same bandolini boots with a gray pinstriped sheath dress. The dress is accentuated with a taupe sweater placed softly on the shoulders and a vintage pewter doctor bag coach purse.
to wear a similar look, check out this link on amazon.
outfit number four

this outfit includes the same gray pinstriped sheath dress as above, with the matching dress jacket added, along with my pewter vintage coach purse, and bandolini boots.
jewelry

on my left hand, i have on my infinity ring, and a sterling silver and cubic zirconia ring that i bought from mexico over 20 years ago. and on my right hand, i have on the jalokivi sterling silver halo ring. this ring has four prongs, and it comes in rose gold, white gold, & sterling silver. Click here for its purchase. The chunky necklace was a gift from my mom, and it came from express.
other ring options

if you prefer more of an oval-shaped ring design in lieu of the halo, then the jalokivi ring pictured below might be the right option for you.

this is the jalokivi solitaire ring in 925 sterling silver. This ring can be purchased through amazon’s link here. both rings pair beautifully with tennis bracelets.
I hope that reading this post has perhaps inspired you to create a system. And after creating a system, you’re able to use your room or closet to put on makeup, play dressup, and enjoy life’s simple pleasures one unique design, space, style, & organization at a time.
Blessings, katina
