What is simple to one person, may not be simple to another. If someone were to say that someone else was simple-minded, it would not be considered a compliment.
when I think of the phrase simple-minded, it takes me back to childhood when one of my aunts used this term to refer to someone who had childlike thinking and activity, and didn’t use common sense or wisdom when making decisions.
The simple in Simple, Functional, Grace-Filled Living means the exact opposite. for us it means using wisdom to find beauty mixed with simplicity in everyday living without the stress and fuss of over-the-topness.
this means stress-free, not overly luxurious, but instead, makes a bold statement of rest, serenity, wellness, cozy, sanctuary, and natural beauty.
What may be simple to one person may be complex and high maintenance to another.

Simple for me means natural elements, mason jars, pinewood coffee tables, open shelving, cozy reading nooks, soft, palette colors that make you feel cozy and right at home, shag and fluffy rugs, thick slipper socks and robes, and plenty of cozy throws and blankets.

Whatever your level of simple/simplicity involves, you get to define it, its beauty, its soul, and identity in every space of your home, wellness, and writing endeavors.
Questions to ponder:
How has simplicity shown up in your life today? How can you spread simplicity in the lives of others? What makes your life simplistic? What methods of simplicity can you adopt from others in their home, wellness routine, and or writing styles? what is one step that you can take today to embrace more of a simplisitic lifestyle?
